Ian Trigg

Trigg is one part of the “Legion of Boom” racing for Lotus this year. We have seen some moments of genius from this old superbike veteran, but so far those flashes haven’t turned into results. This year though Trigg comes off a season on his beloved crotch rocket ready to transfer that speed on two wheels, into four. If he can put in the track time and get a feel for the car he could put in some very strong results but we will have to wait and see. The calming influence of Coops as a teammate will surely help Trigg this year. Maybe he will be able to help him stay out of the press with his ludicrous jibes at the other drivers.

 

Paul Cooper

Coops is the nicest guy in the paddock many of the drivers say. But we all know where nice guys finish. We are hoping this year Cooper can bring some venom to his racing, we all want to see him competing and we know he has the potential to do just that. The partnership at Lotus with Trigg could be exactly what he needs, forcing him to bring out his inner demons and put the hammer down. Either way the grid is a better place with him on it and we are just excited to have him racing. We are certain that the “Legion of Boom” will have an impact this season.
