Kieran D’Archambaud

Mercedes sport a good engine this year and have retained the services of D’Archambaud in attempt to convert that speed into prizes. Kieran is a keen racer with has some very solid racecraft abilities. With a new engine maybe he can finally have the raw pace he needs to sit on the top step. Every year of his career he has battled hard and is easily deserving of more, but the boy does like his drink. This fondness for booze has often affected his performance with his previous teams reporting that he actually stashes a cheeky bottle under his seat to sip when making his pit stops. If that’s true then this boy really can drive and if he can stay sober for a race or two we expect big things.

 

Gregory Hobson

Another rookie on the grid is young Hobson, who takes up the other seat at Mercedes. Again not a lot is known about this new driver this early on, so we are keen to see how he progresses. Rumours of womanising and late night orgies are already writhe in the paddock, but we don’t know how true they are. What we do know however is that Hobson has strong pace for a rookie. His preseason has led to mixed results but he is certainly one to watch. If he and his teammate can work side by side to control the racethey can definitely put in some strong results this year. Watch for this pair to climb the constructors championship.
